reconbob
I am posting this for Doug This is the description he gave me to post FOR SALE 1921 COLT THOMPSON SUBMACHINE GUN Late configuration receiver. Rare second pattern receiver markings (1921 patent dates and “THOMPSON” bullet logo with “TRADE” over and “MARK” under). Third (last) pattern frame markings. Late pattern Colt compensator. Colt Type XX box magazine. $42,500. 310-457-6400 (No texting.) I don't want to get stuck in the middle of anything here but in the interest of full disclosure this gun is a deactivated gun that has been, or will be, fitted with a new manufacture Colt pattern barrel. Doug says the gun is a DEWAT from the old days and that the only deactivation that took place was within barrel. According to Doug the receiver is uncut and un-welded. Doug said he will accept offers for this gun. If you are interested the thing to do is give him a call at the number above. He is currently here in the US. michaelkih
Looks nice, but isn/t that way WAY over priced for a gun that will need a new barrel? He can ask whatever he wants for it, but I'm just asking.
