Sirius9024
I was bidding on an early auto ordnance type L drum magazine and two mint condition 18 round riot magazines. Im new to the form, but currently have a Thompson 1928 and wanted to add some accessories to my collection. Im looking for another drum mag and heard these riot mags were scarce or rare to come by. So how RARE are these riot mags? There original high bluing and supposedly unissued or mint. Any help would be appreciated. Dont have any pictures other than the post. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/853681011
ron_brock
They are around but hard to come by. This will be an expensive lot. Ron

giantpanda4
That lot will be $3.5K by the time it is all over. A 18 round mag just sold at Centurion Auctions in with 4 other pat date mages for over $1K, and the similar nickel rotor drums were over $1K as well. Bid like crazy... bmarvin
I was watching a lot on Proxbid last week that had 2 Patent date mags, 1-18 round shot shell, 2-20 round Seymour and a grease gun mag loader. Think the lot sold for $600-$800. Mags weren't perfect but they were functional Here's the auction. Looks like they sold for $960 with the premiumhttps://centurionauctions.hibid.com/catalog/195632/exceptional-nfa-machine-guns--collector-and-sporting-firearms/?q=thompson+ Edited January 22, 2020 by bmarvin
