I don'tthink its been posted here - if so and I missed it I apologize. And he's wearing his gas mask bag backwards -- the flap should be towards the body. And finally, the straps of his gear are being worn under the epaulets of the jacket -- which would prevent the gear from being taken off easily. (These are little details you learn as a reenactor.)
