deerslayer
http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?...p?Item=28514385 Remember the chrome plated 27 we were talking about here a year or so ago, well here is another one or perhaps the same one. I don't remember who had it. I notice the rear sight is not chromed and there appears to be something funny about the drum chrome in one picture, not in the other. Lower has a full auto selector or perhaps the bolt hold open feature.
full auto 45
You can't chrome potmetal! If someone gives $8500 for that, have I got a deal for them. Maybe I should pick up a WH gun and have a $500 chrome/nickle plating job done. I think it's the lighting in the drum shots. Trying to use flash against chrome is a bad thing. Ron Mills
Brings to mind the old adage "You can't polish a turd"...wink!
21 smoker
Ya but look at all that extra chrome you get with the extra long barrel!... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
Motorcar
Seems to have the West Hurley detachable buttstock adapter on the trigger frame. Look how low the stock sits when installed on the frame in the last picture. Also looks like the drum rotor fingers are shiney from that top shot...wonder if the spring got dipped too http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Norm
I'm wondering what the selector switch (on this particular gun) is used for? http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/dry.gif If it's full auto, then which ATF form is on? (Form 3, 4, etc.) Is it a bolt lock? Is it display only?
Z3BigDaddy
The sad part is the seller is intimating that this is a one off "special event" factory gun. What a freakin sham! It is a well know schtick used by live auctioneers planting the seed....... looks like a Rolex, and all the bidders remember is the "Rolex" part, when it is not even a Timex....... Zamm
Man o Man, that is one ugly looking thing! Yep, that's a west hurley buttstock adaptor, only two screws... and bad fit. Z
