Black River Militaria CII
Various repro M1 carbines manufactured in the fifties and sixties were modified into registered selectfire M2s by different designs with quite a few Plainfields in the mix. Quality of materials and manufacture of these M1s was not topnotch and their durability varies significantly among examples of converted guns. I've repaired half dozen of them over a number of years and don't recommend them as a substitute for a mil spec M1 conversion or mil issue M2. The upside is that they can be repaired without devaluing them. FWIW
