1/2 Hanger From Kahr

Bought a new 1/2 inch hanger from Kahr for a project and didn't want to butcher any valuable tsmg parts. Going to add a piece to the middle to make the front grip extend about an inch and a half further to the front to see if the proportion looks better for the 16 inch barrel 1927.

 

Anyway, I thought the hanger looked very good. Nicely made. Compared favorablably to an original ww2 production piece. Only very one small complaint, the threaded hole was a little difficult to get the bolt started into. But once I screwed in in from the top things worked well.

 

I haven't put it on a gun yet, it was snug fitting as I tried sticking it into a receiver front so at least it won't rattle around. I was kind of afraid to tap it on as it might just resist coming back out.

 

Just thought I give a product report if any of you are considering the change to a 1/2 inch hanger.
