Sig
At David's suggestion, wanted to share for the board, my most recent firearm acquisition. It has a very nice, not original, tooled leather lined holster.Close inspection today, showed a very nice firearm with no cracks in the stock. Now I have to wait for transfer approval.

Sig
Thought I would share a picture of a recent acquisition to go with my Ithaca Auto & Burglar. A 1926 Ithaca catalog, inside there is a full page with the A&B. My particular A&B is from 1926 so a very nice addition being from the same year. The catalog is larger than I expected at 8.25" X 14". Inside the catalog has very impressive graphic art, not photos. Will scan and share the page with the A&B when I get to a large enough scanner bed, not sure if I will be able to show the details in a picture though. the original thread binding on the left (red) is very cool, literally the only thing holding it together is a red yarn type of string, no staples the envelope with graphic art is very cool. condition of the catalog is greatcondition of the envelope is ok you can tell they put in some time to make these impress customers. Sig
Having just received the approval and transfer of the Ithaca Auto & Burglar, thought I would post more pictures. Pretty happy with my acquisition. So I have a fairly nice firearm, an original 1926 catalog and mailing envelope (same year as manufacturer of the firearm), an original Ithaca A&B holster, and a custom A&B holster. Fresh pictures of the firearm Pics of the custom holster Original A&B holster

Sig
Posting another recently acquired catalog. Catalog and envelope I posted in the post #4 early is larger 14" X 8.5" with 20 pages and has a very cool yarn binding. This catalog is smaller and slightly different in content with 18 pages and measures 6" X 3.5", bound by staples. Both have the A&B depicted in color. Both of these catalogs are 1926, same year as manufacture for my own A&B.

Sig
Sig,Very nice.If you should shoot it let us know how difficult it is to hold onto.Jim CJimShot it a couple times in the spring. I was prepared for the worst with a death grip on it and heavy gloves. In the end it was a non event as the kick was nothing. I was using Winchester low recoil loads. Don't plan to use regular loads. Not sure if I plan to shoot it again but I did keep the box of shells. Oh and the pattern was interesting, I think I took a pic, if I can find that I will post. jim c 351
Sig,Thanks for the shooting report. With my arthritic wrists I don't think I'd care to try it even with light loads. An old Ithaca double was the first shotgun I ever fired, when 7 or 8 years old. It was a 20 ga Damascus , Flues. Shot at, and hit, a whiskey bottle at close range. Still have the old gun. If I remember correctly it was made around 1918.Jim CPS make sure the chambers are 2 3/4 ", not 2 1/2 " before doing any more shooting. They should be OK. wwl
I think you will find a Model A Auto-Burglar [flues frame] will be 2 1/2'' chambers & the NID frame Model B will have 2 3/4" chambers.
