http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif I just received my www.sportsmansguide.com Fall-2003 catolog today. On page 46 are 20 & 30 rd. mags. for sale. On page 109 is 21/28 parts, 28 bolt, front wood grips, & repro 50 rd. drum pouch. I would just check out if they are G.I. or not. Good luck. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif

Magazines are Worn, (Though they call them "Refurbished") Wood is junk from India. The Vertical Grip from God knows where, and the Drum Pouch (The same one Sarco, Kahr, and Northridge sell) manufactured in India. And yes, the '28 Bolts...All the really good stuff dried up years ago..Never again..

Must,

I ordered one of the "refurbished" 30 rd magazines and it wouldn't even fit into the mag well....junk. I also ordered a drum pouch and the quality was so poor that the magazine will have have company on the return trip to sportsmansguide. They are sending me a free shipping label though.

The 28 bolts were not as described by their reps as being "reproductions." They indeed were brand new original "s" marked Savage 1928 bolts. Sometimes it's worth taking the chance and see what arrives, especially if they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee which they seem to honor.
