Hawkeye_Joe
Well I had an extra beer the other night while cyber surfing and wrote to the guy selling this one. Made him an offer.....he told me that he was sure that in today's market he could get the asked for price but thanks anyway for the offer......he said I was way too low at 7.5K...I don't think so ... http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/ViewItem....p?Item=17317181 http://www.gunbroker.com/pixhost/2004-03-28/DuffysGuns_1081011037_3.jpg
CapeCodder
Looks like the auction ended with no bids, at least none that met the seller's minimum. In my opinion, and considering what I just got for my Colt Navy, that was a high asking price. But it''s his gun and I respect his right to set the price. philasteen
More power to the seller if he thinks he can get 14K+ out of this one. IMHO $10K would have been a fair offer given the need to rehab this piece.
LSU Tiger
I made an offer, too. But I haven't heard from him, yet.
