mattmer
Anyone have an idea of what a WH NIB C drum is worth? Thinking about getting one and I don't think the ban subset will affect these prices unless someone starts making them again! Thanks
96lt1ss
I have been outbid on Gunbroker @ $1000 for West Hurley's that will probably need to go to Merle to work properly. Last time I talked to Merle you were looking at about $300 for the rework. A Savage or other older variation I've seen from $1500-3500 An original Colt that would have gone with a 1921 could probably exceed $5000 depending on condition and how bad someone wanted it. Personally I'm looking for a W/H to use as a shooter and don't want to spend any more than I have to. Especially when it's pretty much a guarantee it will need work. Chopper28
I saw two at a gun show in Alabama a few months ago for $1000 each NIB.
ODS9091
Which gun show was that chopper?
Chopper28
It was at the Zamora Shrine Temple in Irondale just outside of B'ham. A guy had a 28 Colt for 20K, two WH L drums for 500 each, two WH C drums for 1000 each, XXX mags for 20 each and 3 XX mags for 25 each. I bought the XX mags. They were in excellent shape and two of them were the repeat patent date type. By the way, the guy has since sold all the rest of this stuff.
