Bob
Found a new pit to run the 1928A1! Big enough to shoot the belt guns too! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ph34r.gif
LIONHART
Indeed you did Bob! It was such a pleasure shooting your '28 Savage yesterday, that I still can't get over it! Now, if only someone built a rapid Drum loading device!
Bob
What...you need to take time between 50rd dumps to let the thing cool down a bit ;-) ...but in your case it's a safety factor on your wallet, go ahead and tell us how much was the 500rd box you brought! Someone needs to come up with a box shaped like a drum so all you have to do is flip it over and dump it into the drum http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif I'm going back real soon, and with a lot more ammo for "Hittler's Zipper"! I have been running the video all day! (big grin)
LIONHART
Yeah, that MG42 was a real hoot! OK, Ok, I went to our local Gun Show, came across a table with some .45. The Guy said he sold his 1911, and had the remaining ammo for $40.00 Get this, 500Rds. of Sellior And Bellot for $40.00!!! That was only $4.00 a box! Worked great in your '28 didn't it Bob! What a blast!
Bob
Ya, worked a lot cleaner than the WWII re-pack stuff I was shooting! Now I better do some cleaning before they rust http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif
LIONHART
Bob, Make sure you get all that buildup out of the Odd Ball Compensator! Never seen a 3Rd Model Comp. with an upside down Bullet Logo!
