Bill-banger
I am awaiting the transfer of my first Thompson, an M1A1. I see lots of photos of a canvas(web?) sling on the WWII guns, but no one seems to have any for sale? Anyone know of a good source for one? A repro is fine by me. I did find a sling site describing them, but no one seems to have any. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
LIONHART
Dealer Warehouse in CA had some NOS ones available. Their contact information is in the Shotgun News. They also show up on eBay from time to time, but expect to pay a premium there.
M1tommygun
I just got a repro from What Price Glory for $25 plus shipping. It is very nice, and comparing it to pictures of originals, it looks dead on. Of course, you could pay a little more and get an original.
