reconbob
I found a M1921 Colt trigger frame #6139 in Doug's stuff. I have asked a couple of RKI'swhat they figure the value is and no one seems to know or be willing to make a guess. Isearched here on the forum and about ten years ago this topic came up and the only infowas reference to a guy who had been unable to sell a Colt frame for quite some time at aprice of (I think) $2500. (Footnote - 10 years ago.) Since I am commissioned to sell Doug's stuff (as opposed to sitting on it) I put the frameup on Gunbroker and we can all find out together what the "going rate" for a Colt frame is.It's a timed auction, so it will not be active until 11:00 PM E.S.T.. I looked up #6139 in Gordons Book and he lists it as "destroyed". Bob
TD.
Bob,Quick questions:stripped or complete?with or without the grip? The answers to both questions will bear greatly on the winning bid. Please post a link when the auction is active.

anjong-ni
I went over to Doug's shop to order this personally. He asked what serial number I wanted. "I don't know, Doug...when's your birthday?" ..."1937". I think the trigger frame is going to prove pretty valuable...Phil Edited September 11, 2021 by anjong-ni
