Matt in Pdx
I purchased one of the 28A1 bolts from Sportsman Guide which I want to use for blasting instead of the original bright bolt. Normally when replaceing a bolt, the headspace has to be checked. Is this the case with the 28A1? Thanks Matt
PK.
If the receiver, barrel and bolt are all to spec, they can be changed without concern. I have yet to measure a military bolt that was out of spec in any degree that would create problems.
john
Plug and Play!! I have a couple spare bolts (and a couple more I should sell...) and all ya gotta do is toss in the extractor and firing pin/hammer/etc and it's ready to go. I believe that all parts are made to Plug and play specs... john
