Steave
I recently purchased a fairly early Savage '28 in the 82XXX SN range; it is a Bridgeport gun *NOT* a NY address piece. Typical '28, nice piece that has probably been reparked sometime in it's life. Not sure if I'm going to hang on to it or sell it, but I am curious if it is worth any more being an early piece even though it isn't a commercial Savage. Thanks much! bug
I would think not. The NY address and a sub 25K SN might add some $$ for the right buyer but I think your gun would be judged mostly on its present condition. Bob D
