reconbob
I was just talking to a customer who pointed me to KB International as a source for a M1928A1parts set and asking me if I had ever heard of them. He wants to get a kit but he is worried that thereis no phone and no address or place of business and that they can only be contacted by email. I can't blame him. I have never heard of KB International. Does anyone have any experiencewith this company and any knowledge of where they are located? Are they even in the USA?Because in this age of the internet they could be anywhere and they only take credit cards - youcan't mail them payment. https://www.kbtacticalstar.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=655&search=Thompson Thanks in advance.... Merry Ploughboy
I've never dealt with them, but from their website: "ABOUT UShttp://kbtacticalstar.com/ is operated by KB International. We are based in Arizona USA." One might be able to look them up in Arizona state records, BBB, Yelp, etc. Be well.

BobBob, The Website says they are located in Arizona, USA. Maybe it is an outfit that bought up some of Don Bell's old inventory?
Rimcrew
That is really high for an incomplete parts kit. They might want to look elsewhere, regardless of the legitimacy of KB International.
colt21a
Some of Don's old stuff. He had a number of crates of ratholed stuff back from well over 10 years ago.Along with some drums and some 20 round mags and pouch sets.I had talked to him about it 2 SAR shows ago. as i had dealings with Don for well over 15 years. And had the first look at all including the P-38's when brought in. I had many first hand deals with many out there. from well over fifty years ago. Was it Special. No just business as usual. And many times a lot of fun and History.... you enjoyed it.RON K. johnsonlmg41
the only reviews seem to be bad reviews? https://www.xdtalk.com/threads/gun-parts-kb-international.221028/All the good russian kits had barrels. I'd not suggest buying anything off that site. Even their fakebook page looks fake?

APEXgunparts
I think it was APEX Gun Parts who purchased (from Don's Estate) and removed the bulk of Omega Weapons material.About 5 semi-trailers worth. We tried not to leave any surplus of value behind. That website domain was registered in 2009 and was updated in February of 2020.That Thompson parts kit is not unlike the ones that IMA had for sale until recently (no barrel)Richard
reconbob
Well, so far no one has had any first hand dealings with them and the only feedbackfound is negative. So that combined with the no address/no phone/credit cards only makesthis a big caveat emptor. Maybe someday we'll get some first hand info. Thanks. john
How about "welcome" to the forums! Are you a new Thompson owner, had one or more for some time or just interested in the history?Well, this is the place.Answers are free and there are no dumb questions. Folks here are proud of their guns, knowledge and the friendliest buncha people I have had the good fortune to know.If your reply to this string indicated a need for parts, they are available here from time to time and if not, the people here will help you find what you need.Again, welcome!
