I just ordered a M1A1 parts kit from Don at Omega weapon in Tucson and he says his are blued. I am working a deal on a pre-86 M1A1 that is pretty worn finish wise. I would like to restore it to original condition. Which is the correct finish for the M1A1 and who is recomended to do the rework and refinish?
