billie32
Do you have any information regarding the magazine pouch? Looks like it's a 4 cell. Is it marked anywhere?
emmagee1917
Nice looking gun. Good score. I've wanted to add one to my collection for years. Was there a puuch for the double mags too? Chris
dalbert
Those UD-M42's are great fun to shoot. High cyclic rate, probably 900rpm. Heavy bolt. Cool gun and history. I wouldn't mind adding a board here at some point dedicated to discussion of the weapon. I think several of us would like to know more about the 4-cell pouch in the picture. Thanks! tor
Hi the pouch is only fore the single 25 round mags, there is as far as i se no markings on it , it is a little to tight for thompson and reising mags . They was dropped in containers with the guns in europe, the color looks like british field geare.
Norm
Since you live in Europe, can it fire full-auto or semi-auto only. Looks like a neat gun...I've never seen one before. Does it shoot .45ACP? It looks like it uses regular TSMG magazines...that's neat! Norm Edited January 9, 2010 by Norm

billie32
I have a customer who's looking for a bolt for one of these. Does anyone know of any for sale? I saw the huge lot of parts that were sale on gunbroker a while back, but it just seemed like enough money for everything. Can't locate the guys email address either to see if he would sell one of the extra bolts. If anyone has the guys contact info or knows of a bolt for sale, please let me know. Thank you. -George
MGMike
The existence of web pouches for the UD double mag has been documented. They are shown among the inventory of material that airdropped into France during the war. But I have never seen one. The gun itself, and the magazines, are much more common.
