wwl
In the last American Rifleman there was an article on TSMGs. Also an ad for a book by the article author, Tom Laemein. Has anyone reviewed this book?
dalbert
wwl, The Laemlein book is about 3 and a half years old now. It's an excellent resource for WWII photo reference. Each page has WWII photos, with captions, and it can help to answer questions about Thompson usage with drums and modifications in different theatres and dates. I recommend you add it to your collection if you have an interest in the TSMG and WWII. David Albertdalbert@sturmgewehr.com
RoscoeTurner
I wrote a review for it at the time it came out. It was posted on here as well as the US Militaria forum - http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/ Book is well worth the money. Tom Laemlein, the author, is a super nice guy and is usually setup at the Show of Shows in Louisville, KY. http://armorplatepress.com/
