Form 4 Transfer time 4 months

I just had a Thompson transfer to a customer in 4 months! Submitted June 16, 2020, approved October 15, 2020, arrived in mail, October 20, 2020

 

Wasn't expecting it until January.

Unfortunately, it's the government so you can't really count on any sort of trend. I had a January submittal (Form 4) back in two months, and then an April submittal that took six months.

 

I guess it's better than the nine months they kept telling me to expect, but in this day shouldn't a transfer take days, not months....

I just had three form 4s on a trust come back that I mailed in one envelope.
1st Silencer~6mo

2nd Silencer ~10mo

3rd AOW ~12 mo

 

The 2nd and. 3rd were the same examiner. Why they all three weren’t the same examiner baffles me.

My last few (submitted Mid-2019) took 10 months. I currently have two that have been pending since March (coming up on 8 months).

 

The part that gets me is I've had multiple Form 1s that processed during the same period in 30 days or less. Why can't this same process be followed for Form 4s? I recognize that they have to manually enter the forms but you'd think everything else would be the same.
