Jimbo80
Hey all...1st post. A buddy and I recently picked up a M60 Reising with a SN in the low 700s to help out a friend who needed some cash. We're pistol guys and don't really want to add this gun to our collections. We also don't care to go the auction route. What would be a fair and reasonable asking price for an M60 in VG condition these days? The only comp I can find is one that sold on Forgotten Weapons last year for over $3K. If you've seen the FW video mine is in similar condition. We would be glad to offer it to members of this forum first as this is the ONLY site I've found with a Reising section. I'll try to get some good pics this week. Thanks all!!!

ron_brock
Jimbo80, Likely no problem offering it here, but do reach out to the site owner Dalbert before offering for sale. In the meantime, perfectly fine to solicit information and ideas on pricing. I would suggest posting some photos to really get the best idea on pricing. Oftentimes people will be reluctant to price one similar to another as there can be cases where a keen eye catches little things like a refinish, a repair, replaces parts, etc that effect the value. Jimbo80
I tried to take a video so as to get a closeup of the whole gun but it was too large, Here are some captures from the vid. I think the stock is in amazing condition for a 75 year old gun with only one small ding and a scuff mark.
horsemarine
Really nice example of an early rifle. I really like the rust blue, comprising only the first 20%of production. Nicer than the two presently on GB.My 2 Cents,Keith
