holding 2 mags in my hand and looking at them...one parkerized one blued....they are very different....the feed lips are 2x longer on the parkerized...along with a few other details different

is 1 version older than the other? is one an ''improved'' version?

all i know if the park ones typically dont run well in my Mac 10 Lage upper, while the blued ones do....

why are they different?

Most parked magazines are gov't refurbished. I once had a sealed arsenal box full of them (I had to open it)

Huggy is talking about these 2 mags. The parked one doesnt work well in my 76/45 either. One thing i noticed is the spring in the parked one is quite a bit longer than the one in the blue mag.

The different spring could have been a revision to the original drawing.

The parked ones seem to work better in my grease gun

The bolt on my 76/45 was scraping across the mag lips so I had to trim them down to work. I donated those to huggy because I made a boo boo cutting the notch for the mag catch and they fit too loose in my magwell so they are useless to me but will work in his mac

That blue one isn't right, someone altered the feed lips.

Frank...i bought a dozen of those mags last year on GB and the feed lips were altered or cut down a little. It resembles an MP 40 magazine. I did not know they were altered when i bought them but they work fine in my stemple 76/45. I have no idea who altered them and what gun they were running them in.
