Proceed with caution. Lots of scammers on Armsliist

True that. I've hit dozens of "too good to be true" listings. If one is local I offer to meet in a public place for a FTF cash deal; if it's not local I ask for detailed pictures of specific areas of the gun and/or a proof of life picture. Never had a response, I don't know why.
By far the most bogus was an absolutely cherry all-matching SVT40 that was listed for $900 here in Ohio. I asked him for pictures of the bolt face, the bolt lugs which engage the carrier, the mating lugs on the carrier, the gas piston, the gas cylinder and the bore. He sent me glam shots of the exterior. After several people including myself flagged it as a scam, Armslist pulled the listing but it popped up about a week later in Vermont

I have been screwed on GunBroker as well...buyer has +135 rating, wins bid, says MO on the way, never pays, quits communicating,
I look up his ratings he has eight negative letter F ratings for for non-payment and no communication; and he isn't banned?

If you look closely, it's not the same gun. The bipod is different and the demil cuts are different
