geefal
With buyers premium, depending on how they pay for it, a pretty nice FXO went for over $55,000 ($47,500 plus buyers premium). just wow
huggytree
id sell mine for $40k if anyone is interested i never understand how people are so nutty at auctions...they lose all reality and pay anything....sad thing is there is no function guarantee, so they may have bought a POS needing repairs
83Baron
Ha yeah I saw that not bad compared with our matching guns as well. The nice mp44 went for 55k without buyers premium. The Mg42 went for 75k before buyers premium! The Ppshs went a lot less than last time, about 40k, this time about 20k. As we always say, buy the gun not the story. Captain Coles MP40 went for 37.5k before premium. Exciting to see and know we all have some value at the end of the day.

geefal
The beater MP40 went for something like $19,500 before BP (total around $23000) and the other went for $37500 before BP(total around $44,000) (if I remember correctly, I wasn't bidding on those). johnsonlmg41
Definitely some new record prices on a number of guns. Sort of reminds me of the Stern auction in 08 or so? Shortly after that things dramatically fell. I see a number of WTB ads now same as in 07-08. Yes, if I thought I could get 75K for an MG42 I'd be inclined to sell.... I think? Course the temptation if it's worth 75 today, will it bring 85 by spring........or 35 if the bottom drops out? I tend to think it's crazy money until I look at winchester rifles at 50-100K with no provenance other than "rare", vs. firearms that changed the face of nations and the world, like some of the guns we own, then 75K sort of looks like a bargain? 83Baron
Agree, and the relative few that are left in good shape are probably not coming down.
