My pleasure David, I hope this finds you well.

It was a treat to view all those records, to see so many pictures and stories, Americans working and proud of it, in America, all the sports events, marksmanship events, people smiling, earning a good living. I bid on an auction for the Mendelsons that is going out of business, and won a stack of blueprints, one dated 12-10-1941. All the drawings showed changes made to increase production, one showed what each building and floor was producing. The numbers produced were mind boggling especially considering manual machines.

PS, look at how new those Thompson's look!

Pardon if these photo's have already been posted, I came across them while doing research on war time production in downtown Dayton, Ohio while searching the years 1939-1945.

While no TSMG production was done in Dayton, these images I photographed due to my interest in all things Thompson.attachicon.gif Chicago typewriters.jpgattachicon.gif Chicagotypewriters2.jpg

Thanks for sharing
