TSMGguy
Never tried it, so I shouldn't even be answering! FWIW, I've never had the slightest trouble with any military surplus ammunition. I even shot a case of the dreaded Indian milsurp 7.62 without any problems, hearing that it was nasty stuff only after I was out of it! Portuguese? Indian? German? Venezualan? Argentine? Spanish? No problems. Some of it is more accurate than others. I found the Portuguese 7.62 to be superbly accurate and very clean. The worst thing that I can say about the Venezualan is that it is less accurate than any of the rest, and dirtier, but functions fine.
javlin
I shot with a guy a few times out the range that wrote for some mags about ammo and ballistics(now @Army Proving grounds?)anyway he looked at the S.African stuff .He informed me that "if will not drink the water there don't buy the ammo" A simple rule to live buy.Now look at some of the ammo's just listed and what country's and which ones have good marks?
