RichardHello Richard- There are many of the MiA1 stocks out there in good condition, that have the reinforcing bolt, but no buttplate, I have two of those. I took them with me to the Show of Shows and was honored to meet Frank Emond a survivor of Pearl Harbor USS Pennsylvania, and James PeeWee Martin from the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, they signed both stocks for me, one for my brother and myself. We will treasure those. I always stop by the Apex booth at KCR, if you see a tall old fart wearing a thompsonbarrels t-shirt, that will be me.
