Put this together over the last 6 months as a 'tribute'to those lawless times in 1920s & 30s America.

Any gangster worth his salt would want his Thompson locked and loaded and ready to go so a suitcase fitted the bill perfectly with just the buttstock unattached although I did start off with a violin case but the collection quickly out grew it.

Had to 'make do' with a Savage 1942 produced 1928A1,alas that's all the budget would allow for but it's a Thompson never the less.

Now all I need to finish the job is a BAR and a Smith & Wesson 38 I reckon $$$$

Just curious, since you reside in England are any of these shooters?

No strictly verboten over here so we have to make do with deactivated weapons.

Works of art though and pieces of history.

They truly are pieces of history and one has to admire the workmanship, the art, the mechanical function, and the inventive inspiration that goes into any firearm.

Great Display. Stay Safe
