regalgseguy
Anyone have an oppinion on wether or not either of these two are better than the other in regards to reliability out of the box?
Bill in VA
Just my .02, but I see little difference between the two models as far as reliability issues. Both use the same internals. Aside from cosmetic differences (finned barrel, compensator, foregrip, rear sight, etc...) the only real difference is in the cocking handle and where the receiver is slotted for it. Both rifles use the same lower and same upper internals (including the bolt), and as such, I really fail to see how one could be more reliable than the other. IMHO, it's like asking if a flat top 20" bbl. AR-15 is more reliable than a "standard" 20" bbl. AR-15... That said, the only semis I've had the "luck" to work on have been the Kahrs. Some board members have reported QC differences between newer vs. older Kahrs and Kahrs vs. West Hurleys. YMMV
