Bridgeport28A1
WTB: I am looking for V marked XXX magazines to complete my collection. I am looking for A-O, SW CO, Crosby or Seymour XXX magazines that are V marked on either the top or bottom front edge. I have XXX magazines to trade or cash. Please send me a private message if you have any you want to trade or sell so I may hopefully complete my magazine collection. The V stamping looks like this: If you have not bought member TSMG28 book Thompson Submachine Gun Magazines 1917-2021 I would encourage you to do so. It is a great reference book. They are pictured and discussed on page 156. http://www.machinegunboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=26539 Edited May 13, 2022 by Bridgeport28A1

TSMG28
Uncle Dudley, No, the V was added by all U.S. mag manufacturers in the latter half of 1942, supposedly as an encouragement to both the workers and fighting men.
ron_brock
Dont forget to get both versions of the Auto Ordnance mag as well ;-) Agreed, they used to come up more often, V mags that is. Ron
