R67
I wanted to share this with the board. Not your average post, but I thought it would be appreciated. Earl Norem was a 10th mountain Division veteran of WWII, and later became a famous Pulp Fiction artist who was one of the most influential graphic artists of our time. His work has greatly influenced our modern culture of superheroes and larger than life adventure in cinema. He also had an affinity for the M1928A1 Thompson. Often artists of great skill have incorporporated the Thompson SMG into their art, but the depictions are cartoonish and lack detail. it is obvious many of these artists never saw a TSMG in person. Not Norem. It is obvious he either carried, or had seen plenty of Thompsons during his extensive service in WWII: especially M1928A1 examples. He uses the M1928A1 Tommy in many of his pieces, and depicts them with great detail. Here are a few of my favorites which have the M1928A1 in them, and also give a taste of Norem's style. Girls and Thompsons, I thought you guys would get a kick out of this....

1gewehr
Hmm, I like the Japanese Type 92 with the super-rare Bren magazine conversion! Otherwise, his firearms depictions are very good! The Bank robbery scene is amazing!
1gewehr
I am fascinated by the Union Bank robbery picture. It is dated 1960 and the cops seem to have NYPD shoulder patches. Was this a real event? My Google-Fu is not working if so.
