Hi everyone guys,i need help. why all of a sudden, with the barrel in, the barrel door wont properly close? the barrel appears to not be seating fully in position, preventing the door to close. its missing just about 1-

1.5mm i have even tried to smash the barrel door, but nothing seems to work.

everything is mounted the way it should!

Check carefully inside of the receiver around the area opposite the door for any small chunks of brass or debris that might keep the barrel extension from fully seating. Check around the head of the recuperator plunger.

With such a small gap it sounds like the extension is passing over the plunge head and compressing the plunger without difficulty.

Take the barrel out, remove the muzzle bushing and check inside to make sure there are no chunks of debris that will keep the muzzle from fully inserting into the bushing. This seems unlikely if the barrel is going in far enough to compress the recuperator plunger and almost is fully seated.

Don’t hammer the door too hard or it will bend......
