It brought back some of my fondest memories from those carefree days of reading War Stories, Sgt. Rock, Combat, and Sgt Fury comic books from the 60s. I had a great time drawing those images and making up my own adventures. I am scheduled to teach a comic book illustration course this summer. I might like to use this in my powerpoint presentation. deerslayer Posted January 17, 2006 Report Share Posted January 17, 2006 I was remembering my comic book days a couple weeks ago and one of my favorite was where the seargent shoots an enemy plane down with his tommy gun, uses it like a baseball bat to send a grenade back to the japs and a couple other things.
