Most all of his designs are sort of experimental type, but he took a lot of different approaches to solve common issues. He's still around, saw him at the SAR show a few years back, certainly someone has his contact info and you could ask him directly? I first met him at that show and he seemed to be very open to communication and a genuine nice guy. Hopefully someone can PM you his contact info?
