Roland the Thompsongunner
I bought some Thompson parts at a show over the weekend and there was an actuator in the pile that looks to be cast. It has a line around it in the middle and definitely does not looked to be milled out like the other ones I have. It seems to fit and function the same but I did not fire the gun with it in. Are these a newer west hurley type part or some cheap repro and are they safe to use? Thanks, Dan
PK.
WH made cast actuators. They are not known for quality and are regularly replaced with GI parts to insure good function. They have been known to bend & break above the lock slot.
