Commemorative Semi Auto

Recommended Posts

Yes, supposedly they are working semiauto rifles. Personally, I've never shot one of the commemorative semiauto rifles, but IMHO they likely run about as well as the other semiauto 1927A1 rifles. Should you? That depends. Some folks consider them collectible and want an unfired example. Personally, I don't see much collectibilty in them, but only because I have no desire for one. (There are folks who collect any and everything, so I reckon there's always a market for it though. However, mass-produced, commemorative/embellished firearms seem to be limited to kind of a narrow niche market.) Bottom line: it's yours. Shoot it if you like, but even if you don't shoot it, and do decide later to sell it, I'd be surprised if you get more than what they originally sold for from the Historical Society of ???.
