Merry Ploughboy Posted August 13, 2005 Report Share Posted August 13, 2005 Balder, The usual parts suppliers (see FAQ) have had the latch in the past. Usual price is $5 or so. New spring about $1.50. In any case, there is often a bit of wear at the notch in the frame so if one has a new latch made, the latch is often very slightly over sized to take up some of the wear. Good luck. Balder Posted August 14, 2005 Author Report Share Posted August 14, 2005 Gentlemen, A paper clip did the trick, a friend is in the process of making a new and slightly oversized one so I can file/sand it down to make a perfect fit.
