I bought an original 5 cell 20 round mag pouch that's in really nice condition.  I doubt that it was ever used during the war.     so whats a good way to treat it as far as cleaning and taking out some of the stiffness?    its not stained or dirty just a bit stiff.     the snaps have some oxidation on them. is there a chemical made just for cleaning canvass ?  thanks for any information     peter

In the military we used hot water and soap.  Nothing else.  Oh, maybe elbow grease.
