With the Cherry Valley Lodge closed.  What Newark Hotels are recommended for the TATA weekend?

Looking more for convenient access from the highway.

Thanks.

Vince

Vince,

There is a courtyard right on 16 (I think thats the highway). Near Texas Roadhouse. Ive not stayed there but others have. Otherwise in Newark is a Doubletree and some others.

We have stayed previously and are staying again this year at Courtyard.

Easy, central to Show and Range.

Food is right there as Ron mentioned.

I have also stayed at the Courtyard, albeit a few years have passed, and I liked it. Roadhouse next door is really convenient.

Phil,

I think you dial 0 on your rotary phone and ask the operator to patch you through. You may try the new fangled information line 411.

I tried www.google.com and came up with: 740-344-1800

Was not sure if that was Newark or Heath/ Thanks Ron. You used to be so nice but you have been hanging out with Hensley and it has rubbed off. So sorry to see that happen to such a nice guy.

Lol, yes I should have put a smiley or something else some folks may think Im a real jerk!

The Granville/Newark location is the one near the Texas Roadhouse and would be close to the convention and range. The Heath location, if there is one would be a bit of a drive. I am told Doubletree in Newark could be an option too.

Askew, if I had feelings, I would be hurt. But, you're ok.

The Doubletree in Newark is nice. I have stayed there before. Right by 13 to take to the range.

Courtyard is nice as well. Both about the same price.

Myself and a few of the Usual Suspects will be at the Heath Hampton as well; based on recommendations from Mike and Jack !!   All we need now is to find a rustic lobby with a fireplace to get kicked out of.....

Wait until next week and we should have a contract to the Courtyard hotel in place. If you already have a reservation at the Courtyard

don't worry it can be moved to the contract price.

So stay tuned, same Bat Channel!
