Petroleum 1
At 1:03 there is what looks like a Russian or polish partisan with a 1928 slung over his shoulder. Magazine looks odd to me. Sent from my iPhone

Speeddemon02
For those curious, i would assess the spare mag is loaded, I can see the shape of the back end of the rounds. I would also have to say those are prob XXX, I can see 3 witness holes and the length of the tape and poss end of the mag a XX would not be long enough. I believe it is pretty clear they are twenty-round magazines. Twenty-round magazines have four witness holes. Taking into consideration the perspective of the camera, I see two (2) witness holes and the back of the magazine. Accounting for the width of the tape it appears that two (2) more holes would be spaced before the back of the magazine. Besides that, I would expect a thirty-round magazine to be protruding farther past his left arm.
Petroleum 1
I can see the .45acp round now in the spare mag. I have to try that sometime and compare the reload time taking the mag from the pouch or doing it this way. I would think dirt could get into the upside down mag very easily and then spoil your day once it is flipped around and loaded. I can understand doing it that way with the XX mags though. bug
Any chance that there's a third mag in that pile? I'm wondering what is inserted into the mag well. Bob D
