Tracie will take care of you. In my view, the more books on it, the merrier. "American Thunder" is a must, of course. Bill Helmer's book too (The Gun That Made the 20's Roar). Arthur Fliegenheimer Posted April 23, 2004 Report Share Posted April 23, 2004 Roger Cox's book started the craze (aside from Helmer's which is a more historical account of Auto-Ord), that made fanatics out of casual enthusiasts. Hill's book has more good stuff, and is also hard back which is really a necessity for a reference book. There isn't a hard back book about any firearm that isn't in the neighborhood of a c note. Cox's book is also a great book which predated Tracy's book and has several errors. Then you will want the update of the Cox book. Then if interest directs you will want all of the soft cover books published by Doug Richardson. And then you might consider the video which Richardson sells and was put out by William Douglas. Murray Posted April 23, 2004 Report Share Posted April 23, 2004 Mario We here have visitors who come to our house and are not Thompson nuts like us , and they pick up Tracie Hill's book off the coffee table and read it and enjoy it greatly. There are some very minor mistakes in it but they really only of interest to some of us Drum nuts. You will not regret buying it Regards Murray.
