JJX Posted October 10, 2017 Report Share Posted October 10, 2017 Can anyone tell me the approximate time period for my case?The label is different from another I saw somewhere.Notice the straps for the cleaning rod and parts kit are of a different grain than the exterior. OCM Posted October 10, 2017 Report Share Posted October 10, 2017 As I recall, Larry Wack sent a page from the FBI files that Hoover wanted a bid on a FBI case from Books. It's somewhere in the forum files.I guess what I'm saying, this could be an original FBI case. ( that's a could be ) . Books made other gun cases like for the Winchester 1907 rifle too.So I'm guessing late 20s early-mid 30s. Very collectable item, if it's yours.
