Walter63a
That's great Coz! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif It is very important and enjoyable to get the younger generations involved with firearms! That is a perfect demonstration of beauty and strength! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif Regards, Walter
full auto 45
That's great. We all should, well those with kidlets, get them out and show them how to shoot.

Hawkeye_Joe
Of the things you could have that are troublesome, be glad it's the Khar and not the 16 yr old daughter. You are one lucky man. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif What seems to be the problem with the Khar? Maybe we can help with that, fixing teenage daughters is beyond our capacity so it's a good thing (as Martha Stewart says) she's ok....... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/tongue.gif
REISINGSTAR
Coz, You are SOOO doing the right thing!(in 16yo girleeze). My son(25yo) & my daughter (22yo) were both raised around guns, and taught safety and how to shoot. My son is an avid shooter, and my daughter enjoys it on occaison, especially if she can show up a date that has been bragging on his marksmanship skills. The crowning glory, however, was when my daughter and some of her friends and I were watching the 60 minutes special on the Kalifornia .50 cal. ban.Her friends were saying that "no one should be allowed to have a terrible gun like that".She answered,"The gun is just a thing.People are responsible for what they do with it". I was SOOO proud. Her friends were not "flaming liberals".They had simply not been taught about the safe and responsible use of firearms. If we do not pass on our love of guns and freedom to the next generation,no amount of NRA or other lobbying will save our 2nd Ammendment rights. TSMG28
To quote our friends down under, Good on ya, Coz. I couldn't agree more with the sentiments of this thread. We have to share our passion and our ideas with the next generation(s). Since my wife and I have not been blessed with kids to pass on the legacy, I have introduced my niece, her mother and my mother-in-law to the joys of shooting (with safety the first lesson). My wife is still a little ambivalent about the shooting part, but she strongly supports the Second Amendment and me in my hobby. Interestingly, my niece is more enthusiatic than my nephew, but I'm sure he will come around in time. Keep Sharing!! Roger
