St. Valentine's Day Massacre

Recommended Posts

I recently ran across this interesting article on the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, on the Court T.V. website. Check out the photo of "Machine Gun" Jack McGurn and his sweet alibi, Louise Rolfe (hot)!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif I have included a link below. I've also included a link to the same Court T.V. website, with an article on the very colorful Purple Gang, out of Detroit, some of whose members were rumored to have been involved in the St. Valentines Day Hit. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif Happy reading!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/tongue.gif

P.S. There are some great historical photos in both articles, which I have never seen before!!!

Thanks Phil, for the additional information and history! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif I'm sure there are a lot of interesting and related stories which have gone quietly to the great beyond, due to fear and/or the gangster code of silence. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif Regards, Walter

My wife works for a bank. Many moons ago, she worked at a branch that had been robbed by Dillinger. It is now a empty bulding that is owned by a local restaurant owner and may be coming up for sale. Real cool inside with the catwalk where the gaurds walked with their Thompson's and shotguns. Maybe I should buy it and start my gunshop there!

It's not in a real good part of town. but I bet I wouldn't get robbed. Not with someone carrying a machinegun in the catwalks. Well it might only happen once! It has one hell of a safe to store guns in.

Mike, a gunshop might be a distinct improvement to the neighborhood!!! Perhaps the criminal element will get wise! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif Remember, an armed society is a poilite society!!!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif Best Regards, Walter
