Tca Show & Shoot / Pretty Boy Floyd

Guys (and Girls): I will have a death mask of Pretty Boy Floyd on display at the Thompson Collectors Show and Shoot at Newark, Ohio on August 12/13. Following the death of John Dillinger, Charles Arthur Floyd was named "Public Enemy #1" by J. Edgar Hoover. Floyd was killed on October 22, 1934 on the Conkle farm (near East Liverpool, Ohio) by East Liverpool Ohio police officer Chester Smith, who was one of eight armed FBI Agents and Policemen who drove up as Floyd was about to make his getaway.

 

Anyone who has any Floyd related photographs, news articles or memorabilia, who is coming to the TCA show, is urged to bring it with them and make it part of the display. Anything you have which might add interest to the display is appreciated.
