El Duce
So my son and I went back to the range today after we swapped out the bolt. Ran just fine! Two mags that I have didn't want to work because the hole keeping it in place was too big, no worries. We ran several mags through it with various ammo. Now if you remember, before the bolt swap, it only wanted to run with S&B ammo. We for giggles swapped out the lower. Put a 20 round mag in it, and it jammed. Noticed that the Ejector was sticking out just a hair. We stopped shooting and called it a day. So, what's the secret? Looks like it should just screw back in? I don't want to scratch up the receiver. Thanks again oh wise ones!!
El Duce
And the gun ate every bit of ammo that we put through it after the bolt swap!!
El Duce
Well...we just swapped out the ejector with the one from the parts kit, and it is now sung as a bug in a rug.
john
Might have had a '28 ejector?
TSMGguy
When discussing the work to be done to my WH M1, PK told me that ejector indexing is often off on these guns, and needs to be addressed. Sounds like you found an ejector that indexes properly.
El Duce
Some how the original one got loose. But when we got it home. We put a little pressure on the tab ( bend) and it stayed in place. But we just swapped it out and all was good.
