Bisley45
It was Ok to do that on OLD dewats, but that they have all three pieces and you can't see the cuts makes me cautious. I'd want to see all three pieces seperate and learn when this "Dewat" was done. 60's Ok yesterday very questionable. Ask a lot of questions, it may be OK or it might be BATFE's Christmas sting. Sgt
Last I looked, BATFE guidelines are very specific that the pieces must be torch cut. I can't remember the width of cut, (maybe 1/4") but I know the pieces would be short. I'm still not sure if you can have the middle piece. Seems like the ATF used duct tape to put one back together in court, when trying to prove "constructive intent". The Ebay item looks like a troublesome piece to me. Hey, I thought Ebay is no longer allowing part kits or reciever parts.

full auto 45
But what if it is a "registered" dewat?

full auto 45
Well it's not. I emailed the guy and asked if it was a registered dewat. All he said is, "it is in pieces." I would stay away from this one.
