Sig
Donation headed your way by snailmail, same delivery method as last time. I like PhilOhio refuse to allow PayPal to get any of my transactions because of their anti-freedom position, the freaking hipocrits. michael

Nick Iannamico
What is the PAYPAL policy (in a nutshell) about firearms?
Sig
PayPal is owned by Evilbay. Evilbay does not allow firearm and many other transactions "for the good of the people". Can't auction mags > 10 rounds is another restriction.

Sig
Nick Here is a copy of evilbay's policies. Take careful note right at the end. This is why use of PayPal in my opinion only benefits the liberals. michael Firearms cannot be listed on eBay's core site. Any item that is designed to propel a metal (or similar) projectile is covered by this ban, regardless of that item's present ability to fire. Other firearms related items not permitted on eBay include: - Air/BB/Pellet guns - Blowguns - Dart firing tasers - Spearguns - Flares, flare guns, flare gun receivers and launchers - Kits that can be used to create a firearm - Specs and/or blue prints for assault weapons - Any firearm receiver including "cut" or "demilled", partials, and 80% completes - Illegal components such as silencers, converters (to convert a firearm to have automatic capability), and short barrels eBay will also no longer allow any parts or accessories for assault weapons, and any item found that is described as being for use with an assault weapon will be removed. Firearm parts and accessories that have a legitimate use for non-assault weapons may be sold provided there is no mention of an assault weapon within the listing. Please be aware that as of June 9th 2004 eBay requires all sellers to state what model of gun the item they are selling is related to. All listings for gun parts and accessories must also be properly categorized in the hunting categories. eBay realizes that as of September 13 2004 the Federal assault weapon ban has lapsed but for the time being our policies regarding all assault weapons and accessories will remain in place. This means that these policies will be based solely on eBay policies and not Federal law.

Walter63a
QUOTE (PhilOhio @ Nov 16 2004, 12:11 PM) ...so what the E-bay left wing ideologues are saying is, "We don't actually care what the law says, unless we get to write it our way. We are using our Internet muscle to force our opinions on you extremist reactionaries. All our earlier talk about not wanting to aid or abet anything illegal (when we wrote the law) was just a smoke screen. O.K., we are being forced to be more truthful. We hate anything relating to guns, so you guys are out of luck. Just go f___ yourselves and disappear." This is what liberals mean when they preach social tolerance. You tolerate whatever they decree, and they tolerate nothing in your world with which they disagree. Because they are right. Karl Marx said so. Well, don't hold back one iota Phil! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif I totally agree with your take on this situation with PayPal/ EvilBay. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/mad.gif That is why I cancelled my account with them (PayPal). If a business (or individual) is legitimate and above board, then they better be able to accept checks, credit cards, money orders, etc. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif Regards, Walter
