Annihilator
Here is a 1918 short buffer i had made based on 1918 blueprints. I installed 1918A2 cones and spring and realize, the recoil absorber is quite difficult to compress, is this normal, is the 1918 buffer spring shorter ? Thanks Pierre
jl7422
Nice looking buffer. I believe the cones and cups are the same for the 18 and the A2. I don't know about the spring length, but I suspect they are the same as well. The buffer heads are different thicknesses between 1918 and A2 and that contributes to a longer A2 OAL. That and the rate-reducer-- The NOS 1918 short buffer I used in a recent build was very difficult to compress. Weapon functions perfectly with it.
