Irac M2hb .50bmg Propane Prop Gun

Just acquired one of these on a Ford M151 with all equipment and propane tank. These were marketed in the 1980's by IRAC. I believe they were located in Louisville KY. The thing works great - sounds and looks like the real deal.

 

Does anyone know the current value?

Hi Greg,

The one I'm thinking of was not out that early.

IRAC's M2HB came out in the late 90's and the price then was $1379.00.

I helped Steve get the rate of fire correct about the mid year of 1999

Thanks for the info. I remember these guns when they introduced them but couldn't remember where or when exactly. This one is a little marked up but seems to be all there and functional. It was mounted on a Sherman tank in a private collection for several years. When the collection was sold I bought the jeeps and got the gun with the extra parts and equipment. I'll contact IRAC and see if I can get a manual. If I can find a pedestal mount for it I'll put it back on the M151.

Thanks again for the IRAC phone number. I spoke to them today and they will refurbish gun for me at the spring KCR shoot. The thing looks good on the M151.

I would like to get a Mutt but it's a bit too small for all the crap I end up dragging around.

 

I have a ring mount for my M35A2C and a post mound in the bed. I can mount all kinds of stuff on that rig. The gas gun is great on the 4th of July! I also have a live M2HB and a M240B. But the real looker is my Lahti on the mount, it has a large pintal mount so it goes on the post or ring.
